NT8 really need to have separate outline and wick colors for up/down candlestick bars

In NT7 you don't have the possibility to use separate outline and wick colors for up/down candlestick bars. NT 8 still not included! why oh why.

Need help with the code or the add on. Thanks

I'd like this to be a standard option too. With the number of times that it's been requested and the number of people who obviously want it would it really be that unreasonable to add extra color fields to the default Candlestick chart style?

Just have it transition existing candlestick chart style configs such that the new individual candlestick outline and wick color settings are both set to the current single color setting so if they ever want to change it they can, but nothing would be apparently different to anyone who doesn't care.

I don't get stuff like forcing people to use custom scripts if they want separate colors or not adding price labels to horizontal lines as an option even though people keep requesting it. Why not just add these tiny features?

it would be better to have a built-in option of same color scheme as NT7, this could greatly improve user experience. so far i have worst user experience from NT7 to NT8. totally disaster. it's just like upgrade win 7 to win 8 and after all of users voice of bring back win 7's user scheme, MS finnaly have to update to win 10 which you can still use win7's. win 8 became shortest lifespan in windows. NT8 repeated same mistake as win 8. if this can't be solved quickly, the fate would be same as win 8.

Apologies if I'm wrong, but from what I can see, it's still not.

I think that's pretty amazing given all the requests I've seen for it on these forums and others. It's a basic feature which should be quick to add, IMO. Just like being able to have separate colors for up/down bars.

This feature has not been implemented in NinjaTrader 8 for all Bars Types. You can however develop a custom Bars Type to allow for this functionality.
