SGX / ICE eSignal Mapping Issue

garfielalvin, to clarify - this was addressed in NT7's eSignal adapter, so the specific mapping for SGX contracts could now be supported.

For NT Support
I have no issue downloading other futures exchanges based on the eSignal symbology.

But I am not able to download the futures contract data for ICE and SGX exchanges using the eSignal symbol format "symbol monthyear-exchange"

I believe that the specific mapping for SGX and ICE contracts have not been addressed in your NT7's eSignal adapter update....eric

You should be able to download these contracts using the current adapter.

When you request data from within NinjaTrader using the designated Futures Expiry and Exchange from the Instrument Editor, the underlying request we make is Symbol MonthYear-Exchange

For example if you requested SGX Nikkei using NK 06-13 in NinjaTrader with Sgx selected as the exchange, the underlying request is:

NK M3-SGX

So we still can not download SGX futures vie signal into Ninja?

astef, could you please contact our support team via Help > Mail to Support with your SGX enabled account and a good time range to test the issue in latest NT7/NT8? Based on our prior updates to this thread I think we could support this, but would like to get it double-checked. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the SGX contracts would not be accessible for execution through NinjaTraderBrokerage.
