linking SuperDOM to Chart
Is it possible that when switch tabs at the bottom of NT8, for the SuperDOM to change symbol automatically?

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Glad to assist. There is not a method to link the tab itself between windows, though I will forward your note so interest in this feature is tracked.
Window linking will allow the primary instrument selected to be synchronized across windows, however. See the below section of our help guide for more information.

Hello Ivantr,
Thank you for your reply.
I have no current update for this feature; however, I have added a vote for you to the existing feature request under the number SFT-469. In order to accomplish similar functionality, you would need a separate chart window for each instrument, then a SuperDOM set to link all colors.

thanks for your answer Kate. I have tried what you suggested and it doesn't work. Can you please explain further? Superdom doesn't know what chart window is active. I have tried with two windows, one for /ES (red) and one for /CL (yellow) and I have set superdom to link all colors like you said

Hello Ivantr,
Thank you for your reply.
I apologize, I was mistaken. You can't control it that way, as that would only change the instrument in the SuperDOM if you also change the instrument in the Chart. However, if you open up a Market Analyzer, add the instruments you use, and link that to the SuperDOM, you can link that window with the SuperDOM and change what's displayed in it by clicking on the instrument row in the list - that'd be the only real work around at the moment.
Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

Add my vote. But until that happens, use this Auto Tab Linking add-on to link tabs between charts and/or DOM. Click on any chart or DOM tab, and all linked charts/DOM change.

Hello Cariocanh1dt,
Thank you for your note.
There would not be a way to embed a SuperDOM in a chart window at the current time, however, I have added a vote to an existing request for this functionality. This is being tracked under the number SFT-867.
As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

Linking TABS would be an incredibly helpful time-saver.
Obviously, you can link windows, but the problem with changing the instrument in an existing window (not a different tab) is that you lose all alerts that are assigned to drawn objects.
Please place this on my wish list for coming NT8 releases!
Gracias
Tripp
