    Annoying Modal Window

    When NT is loading up, or when it is saving data, the information window stays above all the other applications and cannot be minimized or hidden. Specially for saving data message window, for some reason, it will not quit sometimes. I have to kill the whole application and open back up to get rid of it.

    In these scenarios, since no user interaction is required, it may not be appropriate to use modal window. Or is it possible to just display this kind of message in the status bar, or just let it happen in the background silently.

    Is it possible to change this behavior in NT7? Thanks!!

      Yes, and also the splash screen for "Saving, this request cannot be aborted", the title is "Please wait...". For some reason, this screen tends to hang there forever until I kill the whole NT completely.

        If you give the window enough time, does the process complete?

        If this is not the case, please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com, with "ATTN: Kyle" in the subject line.

        In the message, please include the following:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) Your log and trace files from a date this occured.
        You will find your log file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt
        You will find your trace file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

              Hi, Kyle,

              I am not sure how much time I should wait to act But like today, it hung there for 3-4 hours, and finally disappeared after I switched to different symbols a couple of times .

                I would still like you to provide me with the log and trace files via a separate note.
