Description

Returns the highest value over the specified period.

 

 

Syntax

MAX(int period)
MAX(IDataSeries input, int period)

 

Returns default value
MAX(int period)[int barsAgo]
MAX(IDataSeries input, int period)[int barsAgo]

 

 

Return Value

double; Accessing this method via an index value [int barsAgo] returns the indicator value of the referenced bar.

 

 

Parameters

input

Indicator source data (?)

period

Number of bars used in the calculation

 

 

Examples

// Prints the highest high value over the last 20 periods
double value = MAX(High, 20)[0];
Print("The current MAX value is " + value.ToString());
