Running NT8 and NT7 on the same machine & the same license

I have some indicators that only run on NT7, but I also want to run NT8 for the order flow suite.

So - can I run both on the same machine simultaneously, and can I use the same license for both? (I have a lifetime license).

I know I'll need 2 separate data feeds, that's not a problem.

Thank you for your post.

There are no conflicts with having both NinjaTrader 7 and 8 installed concurrently, using the same license key so if you wish to keep Version 7 you can certainly do so.

Yes that is correct, you can run both NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 at the same time. The only limitation is your system resources available for the platforms to use, if you don't have the system resources available that both platforms need, you may run into Performance issues. Just to clarify - I can run both on the same license key? I had this back from Kinetick support:

"There can only be one instance of NinjaTrader running at a time with the same license key. "

Yes, you can run both on the same license key if that key is provided from NinjaTrader, I'm not sure about keys provided from Kinetick. However I have not personally seen this be an issue.
