    Simulated Data Feed

Can we please have an option to speed up the Simulated Data Feed?
I know 4 renko would be faster
I turned it on to the 1 minute, went and ate dinner and still havent made a trade.
I cant imagine people trying to use it on something like the 1 hour or worse! thanks

Did you move the slider up or down?

Is the chart "Trading hours" set to "Default 24 x 7"?

You'll need to do that on weekends ... otherwise the
Simulated Data Feed won't generate any data.

          Huh?

Simulated Data Feed only has one slider, and that is exactly what it does.

Move the trend slider up, and prices trend up.
Move the trend slider down, and prices trend down.
Leave the trend slider in the middle, trend is random.

The point is: the trend slider makes price move, esp when you move the
slider to the max up position or max down position.

Btw, did you check your chart's "Trading Hours"?

If the "Trading Hours" is not set to "Default 24 x 7", will see absolutely
          no movement on weekends
          .

I dont want to control direction by moving it up and down and watch it all day. I want direction to be random and I want price to be sped up.

Gotcha. Yeah, the vertical 'trend slider' reduces the randomness of the trend in favor of a specified direction.

Indeed, some kind of horizontal 'speed slider' to increase frequency of tick updates would be very nice.

                Hello ezrollin,

The Simulated Data Feed is intended to follow the trend set in the trend slider.
Below is a link to the help guide.
                https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...connection.htm

You could instead run back a day of market replay recorded data in the Playback connecction and advance the speed.

                      Hello ezrollin,

This request is being tracked with ID# SFT-5375.

Please note, we receive many requests and cannot reasonably implement all requested features or changes. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to make those changes to consider implementing, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.

When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented.
