FAQs About NinjaTrader Prediction Markets

Intro Section

We're bringing prediction markets to NinjaTrader through an experience designed for active traders. Trade binary contracts on real-world events using the same active trader tools: full order types, risk controls, a DOM, and charting.

This page covers the most common questions about how it works. If you don't find what you're looking for here, chat with our virtual assistant.

A prediction market lets you trade a binary contract (Yes or No) on whether a real-world event will happen. Each contract pays out $1 if the outcome is correct, and $0 if it's not. The price of a contract reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome.

For example: "Will the Fed cut rates in June?" trades at 34¢. If you buy Yes and the Fed cuts, you receive $1. If they don't, your contract expires without any gain. If you buy No at 66¢ and the Fed doesn't cut, you receive $1.

Most platforms are built for casual users — a buy button, no order types, no risk management. This one is built for active traders. You'll find a full order ticket with Market, Limit, and Stop orders, bracket orders, account-level risk controls, a DOM, and charting. The tools work the way you'd expect.
Your NinjaTrader account balance will be connected to the prediction market platform. You can add funds to your account at any time through our supported funding method.

Yes, the following fees apply:

  • Commissions: $0.01 per trade
  • Kalshi's exchange fees: $0.01 per trade
Settlement typically happens within a few hours of the outcome being confirmed. Kalshi relies on official source data like government releases, league statistics, and similar, so in some cases settlement may take longer if that data is delayed.
Kalshi has a formal resolution process. Each market specifies the source data it uses to determine the outcome. If a resolution is disputed, Kalshi reviews it against those rules. Details are in the market's terms.
Early access is limited to eligible jurisdictions and a small invited group. If someone you know didn't receive an invite, they may be in a jurisdiction we're not yet live in, or they'll be included in a later cohort.
This is a standalone platform during early access. We may integrate the experience into the NinjaTrader platform as we expand access.
This is an early build, so expect some rough edges and missing features. We'd love your feedback on anything that breaks, feels confusing, or doesn't work the way you'd expect. Use the feedback link in the platform or sent to you via email.
We will notify you in advance to allow you to close any open positions. Your funds will remain in your account balance and can be used to trade futures or withdrawn at any time.
