A Journey Through Trading Technology
Beginning his career at WH Trading, Joe immersed himself in the fast-paced world of proprietary and high-frequency trading (HFT). This experience laid a strong foundation for his understanding of trading technologies and market dynamics. He later transitioned to Transact, where he shifted his focus to enhancing the retail trading experience.
Understanding High-Frequency Trading
Joe shared some of the intricacies of HFT, explaining how it involves processing transactions within microseconds, how data is mission critical, and how HFT is increasing utilizing automation and AI. This level of speed and precision is essential for large proprietary traders, but this technology also benefits futures traders of all levels.
