One of NinjaTrader’s powerful order entry features is the SuperDOM, an interactive price ladder which displays market depth. The SuperDOM provides complete functionality for the management of orders, positions, and discretionary exit and stop strategies in a highly visual manner.
This efficient order entry interface allows traders to not only submit and modify orders, but also monitor order book data to track changes in bids and offers. The “DOM” in SuperDOM stands for “depth of market,” also known as Level II or the order book.

SuperDOM Overview
The SuperDOM’s price ladder display provides an intuitive interface to submit and modify orders, all while keeping tabs on standing limit orders surrounding the last traded price.
Order Placement Using Your Mouse
Market orders in the SuperDOM can be placed with the quick buttons found towards the bottom of the display or using specific mouse clicks on the price ladder as outlined below:
Stop limit order - Click your middle mouse button on the desired price, set your offset and click the check mark (above the market on buy side, below the market on sell side).
Stop market order – Hold CTRL while middle clicking your mouse on the desired price (above the market on buy side, below the market on sell side).
Market if touched (MIT) order – Hold CTRL and left click once in cell adjacent to desired price (below the market on the buy side, above the market on the sell side).
Intuitive Order Modification
Use the “click-then-click” method to adjust orders on the fly with precision. Click once to select an active order in the SuperDOM, then move your mouse to the new price level and click again to reposition the order.
To cancel individual orders, click the X to the left of the order on the buy side and to the right of the order on the sell side. To cancel all active orders on either the buy or sell columns, click the X adjacent to the “Market” quick buttons at the bottom of the price ladder.
